Challenge: Maximizing adoption and efficiency

From the start, Prime Time Fitness relied on electronic strength circuits to enable time-efficient training. However, members didn't fully adopt this equipment offered by the gym. 

The team knew they needed a better, more modern solution to meet the needs of their target audience. Prime Time Fitness was confident that EGYM was the ideal system to realize its vision. “We have been known for many years for offering modern and efficient forms of training,” says Henrik Gockel. "But with EGYM we achieved a breakthrough because usage figures are through the roof."

An intuitive and motivating workout for all members

EGYM brings not only smart equipment, but also a complete digital ecosystem to Prime Time Fitness Studios. David Dubiel, head of training, explains: “EGYM gives us the opportunity to make strength training easy to do and to make even the smallest successes immediately visible.” Members can simply log in and get started right away without having to worry about equipment settings or training planning. This fosters motivation and lowers the barriers to entry – even for new members who have had little experience with fitness.

The success was quickly apparent: Over a third of Prime Time members regularly use the EGYM circuit, and the equipment is consistently well used during opening hours. 

Gockel sums up: “When you arrive at the center and see crowds and lines at the EGYM equipment, you know something big is happening!"

EGYM Fitness Hub and Wellpass: Seamless new member onboarding

With the integration of EGYM Wellpass, Prime Time Fitness is recording over 10,000 additional entries per month. Wellpass enables company employees to train in various studios throughout Germany – a target group that often has little experience with fitness but still wants to train in a health-conscious way. 

Henrik Gockel describes enthusiastically: "With Wellpass, members suddenly come through the door who have actually never worked out before [...] and they need to be inspired as soon as they come in." The seamless integration of Wellpass into the EGYM Ecosystem ensures that these new gym-goers can also start their individual, automated training immediately and fully experience the Prime Time difference.

With the Fitness Hub and the EGYM app, onboarding for members is also straightforward and digital. Two-thirds of Prime Time members have already completed digital onboarding via the EGYM Fitness Hub, which makes starting workouts particularly smooth. This allows all users to enjoy an easy start to training without overburdening the trainers. "The Fitness Hub is the pinnacle of automation," says David Dubiel. “It takes all the tedious tasks off my trainers’ plates, allowing them to focus entirely on supporting our members.”
 

EGYM Genius: The future of training

With the introduction of the AI innovation EGYM Genius, classic equipment can now also be seamlessly integrated into the EGYM training system. Genius makes it possible to integrate all workout stations into a digital training plan. This means that members can use the instructions and settings they know from electronic devices on analog machines via the EGYM app. 

This creates additional flexibility and a consistent training experience for members: “With Genius, my favorite station is also integrated,” reports Henrik Gockel enthusiastically. "It gives me much more flexibility to choose which training station I want to use." Such comprehensive integration allows members to pursue their fitness goals even more precisely and continuously refine them.

Thanks to the cooperation with EGYM and Wellpass, Prime Time Fitness creates a unique fitness experience for the urban performer. The digital integration through EGYM enables a fast, efficient workout experience that adapts to the needs of members.  “And I have to say it worked perfectly because the numbers prove us right—the percentages of how many members are training and how Wellpass members have joined.
