Updated Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
Dear User,
We have updated our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. We are constantly improving and expanding our product world and we are making these updates to ensure that all relevant information remain fully transparent and easy to understand for you.
Following the acquisition of Netpulse by EGYM GmbH, we have merged our product worlds to make it easier and more convenient for you to use all our services. Our mobile app will be operated directly by EGYM GmbH as your contractual partner. Our commitment to data protection and the full transparency and control of our users over their data will not change. You can find below the new versions of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy as well as a summary of the changes that were done.
If you do not agree with the changes, you can choose to discontinue using our products and services and to delete your user account within a period of 30 days after you have been notified in the app. You can delete your user account directly within your mobile app by tapping on your profile picture in the top left corner and then going to the Privacy Section within Settings. In the bottom of the page, you will find the option to delete your account.

Terms of Service
Simplification: A lot of our users come across EGYM’s various products in different ways, e.g. via our Smart Strength machines or our Branded Member Apps. Throughout their journey, they had to agree to several different Terms of Service, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policies. To simplify the usage of all our EGYM end-user products, we have combined our Terms of Use and Privacy Policies into a unified Terms of Service with EGYM GmbH being the sole contractual partner of the end-users for all EGYM products, so the end-user only has to accept one set of Terms of Service and one Privacy Policy for all EGYM products irrespective of the end user’s “starting point” in the EGYM product world. A main change for the Branded Member App is that in future EGYM Germany GmbH will be the direct contractual partner of the end-user and also the responsible data controller pursuant to GDPR.
Transparency: As we developed the new Terms of Service and Privacy Policy we worked especially on an easier structure and made our legal documents easier to read and clearer for our end users. Whichever EGYM product the users get in touch with first, they will find the information they need in the Terms of Service for the respective product easily, as each product is described separately with all information the end user requires to make an informed decision before using the EGYM products.
Privacy: Respecting the privacy of our users remains one of our biggest assets and will only be further enhanced with having EGYM Germany being the sole data controller of personal data for all EGYM products as the end-users will have one point of contact for all EGYM products for all their privacy needs and support.
