To ensure that the equipment selection for the training plans exactly matches the equipment in your studio, you will need to input your entire inventory of equipment into the Business Suite.
To do so, you’ll need to complete the following:
- Create a complete list of all manufacturers including the exact product series
- Education Portal: take a look at the ‘Gym Inventory’ course provided. This serves as a step-by-step guide for optimal implementation. If you do not have or have not yet received access to the Education Portal, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
The aim of the strategy meeting is to discuss your individual goals and to create a personalised plan for the successful implementation of Genius and the EGYM solution in your studio.
The following checklist will help you prepare for a successful Genius for Trainers launch:

If you have Genius for Members in your gym, the following checklist will help you prepare for a successful Genius launch:
❑ Strategy meeting arranged with your concept consultant (topics include discussing goals, defining or adapting the customer journey, EGYM+ upsell opportunities, activating Machine Admission)
❑ Technical infrastructure available and checked (e.g. power connections)
❑ Training appointment arranged with our Customer Success Team to optimally prepare your staff
❑ Is the Gym Inventory set up in the Business Suite?
❑ Marketing and communication plan implemented? (You can find tips on implementation in our Genius Marketing Kit)
To successfully implement EGYM Genius in your facility, the following EGYM setup is required:
- Fitness Hub
- 4 Smart Strength devices
- Branded Member App
- Trainer App
- Gym inventory setup in the Business Suite
You will also achieve maximum success with Genius if your Smart Strength machines are activated in open mode (including guest mode). We also recommend the following requirements:
- Activation of EGYM+
- In order for your members to receive the Genius training plans, you need the Branded Member App (at least Basic) in your studio
- If you do not yet have a Branded Member App in your studio, ask your Customer Success Manager or Concept Consultant about the necessary steps for implementation
- For the best member experience, we recommend the EGYM Branded Member App Advanced. This provides you with your own personalised studio app, makes optimal use of Genius and creates a whole new level of member loyalty.
Management software
An active interface between EGYM and your management software guarantees a smooth process. The following functions should be activated:
- Auto-sync activated: Automatic creation of the EGYM account by transferring master data and membership information.
- Transfer of the RFID medium for automatic login to EGYM equipment.
- Recommendation: Activation of EGYM+ via the member administration.
